Free Brevo campaign audit prompt.
I made one prompt for a quick look back at Brevo campaigns. You copy it into Claude, it reads your recent campaigns and gives you a short, plain-language audit: what worked, what didn’t, and three things to try next.
Free on Gumroad (pay what you want). Enter $0 if it asks for a price. You get one PDF: three setup steps and the full prompt.

What the audit checks
Claude pulls your last 10 sent email campaigns, or everything from the last 90 days if that’s fewer. For each one it gets the name, send date, list or segment, recipients, open rate, click rate, hard and soft bounces, unsubscribes and spam complaints if Brevo has them. It puts them in one table, newest first, then writes five short sections:
- Top and bottom campaigns: the 2 best and 2 weakest by open rate, and the same by click rate, with one line each on what might explain the difference.
- Subject line patterns: what the subject lines of stronger and weaker campaigns have in common (length, questions, numbers, personalisation, tone), only where the data supports it.
- Segment differences: if campaigns went to different lists or segments, how each one performed.
- Deliverability flags: any campaign with bounces, unsubscribes or spam complaints noticeably higher than your other campaigns, and what to check.
- 3 next actions: three small, specific things to try in your next campaign, each linked to something in your data.
The rules the prompt gives Claude
The rules matter more than the sections. The prompt tells Claude to:
- Use only data it pulls from Brevo. No invented numbers, benchmarks or industry averages.
- Show the math for any rate or comparison it works out, and double-check counts.
- Don’t guess about email content it can’t see.
- Say which campaigns and dates it used, and say so if it couldn’t connect to Brevo.
- With fewer than 10 campaigns, or fewer than 3 per list, rate its confidence as low.
- Keep facts separate from interpretation, and say how confident it is.
- Create, send, schedule and delete nothing. The audit is read-only.
- Stay under 400 words, not counting the tables.
What you need
- A Brevo account with some sent campaigns.
- Claude with the Brevo connector (Customize → Connectors).
- No code, no API key and no skill upload.
Set it up in 3 steps
- Connect Brevo in Claude. Go to Customize → Connectors, search for Brevo, log in, read the permissions and click Authorize.
- Check it works. Ask Claude: “Using Brevo, list my last 5 email campaigns with their send dates.” If you get a list back, you’re connected.
- Paste the prompt into a new chat. Change the number of campaigns or the time period if you like.
The Brevo connector reads your account, contacts, lists and stats, and can create draft or scheduled email and SMS campaigns. It can’t send now, edit existing campaigns, or add or import contacts. Ask it for drafts only, and send from Brevo yourself. One footnote: Brevo’s listing in Claude’s directory also has a tool for sending a test of a template, so if Claude offers to send a test, check who it’s going to.
See an example first
I tested the prompt on a made-up report from a fictional list. The table, the low-confidence note and the three next actions from that test are in my post Email marketing audit for Brevo, with Claude, along with how to connect Brevo safely.
